News: Amex Adds Uber Eats Pass Membership To Select Cards - Credit-Land.com

American Express is now offering a complimentary Uber Eats Pass membership for up to 12 months to eligible consumer cardmembers.

Cardmembers of the American Express® Green Card, American Express® Gold Card, or The Platinum Card® will have up to 12 complimentary months of Eats Pass. The benefit is not automatic, cardmembers will need to use their eligible card to subscribe to the service.

Eat Pass costs $9.99 per month and unlocks $0 delivery and 5% off orders over $15 at eligible restaurants. With the Amex's Uber Eats Pass offer, eligible cardmembers can save up to $119 on the service.

To enroll in the Eats Pass offer, eligible cardmembers need to download or update their Uber Eats app, add an eligible Amex card to the wallet, and claim their complimentary Uber Eats Pass in the app.

This new perk is not the only Uber benefit Amex cardmembers can get with their cards. Thus, in early 2021, Amex Gold cardmembers will be able to receive $10 in Uber Cash each month (up to $120 annually) for Uber Eats orders and Uber rides in the U.S. Meanwhile, Amex Platinum cardmembers can already get up to $200 for Uber rides or eats orders annually. To be able to use these benefits, your eligible Amex card must be added as a payment method in your Uber app.
