News: Chase Freedom Q3 5% Categories Revealed - Credit-Land.com

This summer, Chase Freedom®* (not available to new applicants) and Chase Freedom Flex®* cardholders have plenty of opportunities to earn bonus points in 5% category purchases.

Current 5% cash back bonus categories are purchases at Amazon.com and Lowe's. These will end on June 30, 2023, and if you didn't activate them, you will no longer be able to do it. However, you can now activate categories of the third quarter to make sure you don't miss on them.

Chase has recently announced cash back categories for Q3 and they are gas stations, EV charging stations, and select live entertainment. You can activate them now to earn 5% cash back on these purchases between July 1 and September 30, 2023, on up to $1,500 in combined purchases. Once you reach the cap, you will continue earning 1% cash back on all purchases.

To activate your Chase Freedom card and unlock next bonus categories, you need to log in to your Chase account. You will need your last name, last 4 digits on your card, and ZIP code to activate your 5% cash back categories.
