Chase has updated its premium travel credit card - the Chase Sapphire Reserve® card. The card got new rewards rates on travel spending, greater points value when redeemed for travel, and new benefits, including statement credits. The Chase Sapphire Reserve now offers over $2,700 in annual cardmember value. At the same time, the annual fee on the card increased to $795.
The all-new Chase Sapphire Reserve® card is on the Visa Infinite network, one of the most widely accepted global networks. For a limited time, new cardmembers can earn the highest ever bonus offer of 100,000 points and a $500 Chase Travel℠ credit, after spending $5,000 in the first three months. Plus, the new Sapphire Reserve card now offers the following earning rates:
- 8x points on all Chase Travel purchases, replacing 5x points on flights and 10x points on hotels and car rentals booked through Chase Travel
- 4x points on flights and hotels booked direct, replacing 3x points on all travel
- 3x points on dining at restaurants worldwide, including eligible delivery
- 1x points on all other purchases
Cardmembers can also increase the value of their points through "Points Boost," the new points redemption accelerator program. With Points Boost, your points will be worth 2 cents apiece on select flights and hotel stays booked through Chase Travel. Bookings that qualify for Points Boost will be specifically marked in the portal. The redemption value of other bookings will be just 1 cent per point.
Chase Sapphire Reserve® cardmembers will continue to receive the $300 annual travel credit, $120 Global Entry, TSA Precheck or Nexus credit every four years, access to Chase Sapphire Lounge by The Club network of airport lounges, access to Reserve Travel Designers, and travel protections.
On top of those benefits, the card will also offer these new credits and benefits:
