The Chase Freedom credit has gone live with their new bonus categories. This coming quarter people will be able to earn 5% back when they hit the gas station, as well as when they make purchases with a variety of streaming services. What streaming services are taking part in this initiative? That is a great question. The lineup includes Hulu, FuboYV, Netflix, Sling, Vudu, Apple Music, SiriusXM, Spotify, and Pandora. The new bonuses kick in on July 1, 2019, and are live until September 30, 2019.

The Chase Freedom credit card lets cardholders earn 5% back on different categories each quarter. While they earn the 5% cash back in the enhanced categories they earn 1% back on all other purchases, and there is absolutely no limit on how much they can earn.

Cardholders who are interested in taking advantage of these enhanced earnings can activate them via the website or mobile app. They can get 5% back on up to $1,500 in combined purchases during the quarter.

Getting a bonus with Chase Freedom

New cardholders can earn a $150 bonus with their new card. All they need to do to get the bonus is spend $500 with their card. These spends can be on anything from eating out and buying coffee to booking a hotel room or paying for a seat on a flight. They simply must make these purchases during the first three months they have the card to get the bonus.

Cash Back rewards never expire, as long as the cardholder's account is active, and people can opt to redeem their cash back for any amount they like because there is no minimum.

More extras

With the Chase Freedom credit card, new cardholders can also take advantage of a 0% Intro APR, that is in play for the first 15 months they have the card. Once that period is over their interest rate will be somewhere between 17.24% and 25.99%.

They also get a 3% intro balance transfer fee when they transfer a balance during the first 2 months they have their card.

There is no annual fee for this card, and people can also get their credit score for free via Credit Journey.
