News: SimplyMiles by American Airlines - Credit-Land.com

AAdvantage members are offered one more way to earn miles while shopping.

American Airlines launched a new SimplyMiles program. The program allows to earn more miles when shopping with participating brands both in store and online. The program is similar to Amex Offers and Chase Ultimate Rewards which have been around for a while already.

SimplyMiles is just simple. To start earning additional miles, you need to join the program, add your Citi®/AAdvantage® credit card or AAdvantage® Aviator® Mastercard to automatically earn miles, and activate your personalized offers and other deals (Citi is a Credit-Land.com advertising partner). When you are shopping at a SimplyMiles partner, use your registered credit card to complete your purchase and wait for your miles.

New offers and partners are updated regularly, so it is worth checking from time to time or keep an eye out for emails from SimplyMiles.

Participation in the SimplyMiles program is free. There are no coupons and no interaction at store is required, you simply pay with your linked card and automatically earn miles on qualifying purchases.

There is no limit to the number of miles you can earn through SimplyMiles. However, earned miles may expire as any AAdvantage miles which expire 18 months after you earn them unless there's some activity in your account. Fortunately, it is easy to reset the expiration date - you simply need to earn or redeem miles.

What you need to join?

Enrollment is easy. You will need your AAdvantage number to sign up. Then you will need to link one or more of the AAdvantage credit cards.

What are the requirements?

First of all, you should be an AAdvantage member. Second, you should have an AAdvantage credit card. American promise to add more options in the future though. And third, you may register up to three cards in the program. Not many, but luckily you may add and remove your registered cards in your SimplyMiles account.
