News: Southwest Airlines Offers Rapid Rewards Members New Opportunities to Earn A-List Status Faster - Credit-Land.com

Southwest's Rapid Rewards® program has two status levels: A-List and A-List Preferred. Members have two ways to earn the status: either earning a number of one-way qualifying flights or earning a specified number of tier qualifying points in a calendar year.

The Rapid Rewards status gives access to a bunch of benefits and perks, including priority boarding and same-day flight change. Now, for a short period of time, Rapid Rewards members have more opportunities to earn A-List or A-List Preferred tier status faster.

Here is how you can take advantage of the promotion:

- Earn double tier qualifying points on flights: you can earn 2x points on all qualifying flights when you register, book Southwest qualifying flights, and travel through May 31, 2023.

- Earn with reward travel: every flight purchased with Rapid Rewards points counts as one flight credit towards tier status, and 10% of points redeemed count as tier qualifying points for use on any flights when you register, book Southwest qualifying flights, and travel through May 31, 2023.

- Earn with Rapid Rewards credit cards from Chase: you can earn 3,000 tier qualifying points for every $5,000 in purchases you make with your Rapid Rewards Priority, Premier, and Plus credit cards (and Premier, Plus and Performance Business credit cards from Chase). The promotion is active now through May 31, 2023. These tier qualifying points are earned in addition to current tier qualifying points cardmembers already earn.

Just make sure you register for this promotion. Otherwise, you won't be able to take advantage of these three new opportunities to reach A-List status faster. When you earn A-List or A-List Preferred status, you get the benefits for the remainder of the current year and for the whole following year.
