Within the next couple of months, I will be taking a trip down to Sephora so I can buy some of my favorite makeup. I expect it to cost a few hundred dollars. Since there is no Sephora card, what type of card do you think is best for making this purchase?

Sign-up for their Beauty Insider program. It’s a good first step when it comes to trying to get more out of your Sephora purchases. When making a large purchase, it can sometimes be a good idea to use a general rewards credit card, so you can collect a large sum of points on a single purchase. However, if you’re planning to pay off the balance over a few months, a rewards credit card might not be the best idea since you will collect interest, which could potentially negate the rewards. When planning to carry a balance, a 0% intro APR card is a much better idea.
