The Hawaiian Airlines® World Elite Mastercard® credit card is no longer available for application. In 2025, Hawaiian Airlines and Alaska Airlines teamed up and merged their loyalty programs under a new name - Atmos™ Rewards. Hawaiian Miles members and their miles were automatically transitioned into Atmos Rewards. Also, there were introduced new co-branded credit cards along with the transition: Atmos™ Rewards Ascent Visa Signature® Card, Atmos™ Rewards Summit Visa Infinite® Card, and Atmos™ Rewards Visa Signature® Business Card.

If you mostly fly with Hawaiian or Alaska, an Atmos credit card could be a good option for you as co-branded cards offer more airline-related benefits and perks.

You can also consider travel rewards credit cards. They will allow you to earn rewards on travel and are not tied to a particular airline. That is a good option when you do not have a preferred airline and always go with the cheapest option. Travel credit cards will allow you to earn rewards on all your purchases and to redeem earned miles with any airline, including Hawaiian Airlines. You can keep such cards as your primary card to accumulate more miles. What is more, travel rewards cards often come with a one-time bonus, which can be enough for a round-trip reward ticket, and may offer travel perks.
