If you are applying for the credit card you will need good credit. However, if you are referencing the reward program you do not need good credit to get it. You can have limited credit or even bad credit and still get it. It does not even require a credit check. To get one you can apply online or at many of the participating retailers. If you sign up at Rite Aid they will give you a card on the spot. The application requires very little information and is quick to fill out. You will not be required to disclose any specified information such as a social security number or salary. There is no reason not to have the basic reward card. There are many participating retailers and you can even earn points at one store and redeem them at another.
