News: Capital One to Change Lounge Access Policies - Credit-Land.com

Capital One has planned some changes to their lounge access policies for February 2026. Venture X cardholders still have time to enjoy the current generosity of Capital One Lounges and Landings and get prepared for new access policies.

The upcoming lounge access changes will affect cardholders of Capital One Venture X Rewards Credit Card and Capital One Venture X Business* cards, but more specifically - their authorized users.

Currently, cardholders of the Venture X card can enjoy complimentary access to Capital One Lounges and Landings with two complimentary guests for lounges and one guest for Landings. Plus, primary cardholders receive complimentary access to Priority Pass lounges and can bring two complimentary guests along. Venture X's authorized users and account managers get the same benefits as primary cardholders.

As for cardholders of the Venture X Business, they get access to Capital One Lounges and Landings with two complimentary guests for lounges and one guest for Landings. Venture X Business' additional cardholders currently do not receive any complimentary lounge access.

However, starting February 1, 2026, lounge access for Venture X and Venture X Business additional cardholders will change - additional cardholders will no longer automatically have complimentary airport lounge access.

Here's what changes for Venture X cardholders:

  • Venture X primary cardholders can pay an annual lounge access fee of $125 per additional cardholder to maintain their lounge access. This will grant additional cardholders access to Capital One Lounge and Landing locations, as well as participating Priority Pass lounges.
  • Guests of Venture X cardholders will no longer automatically receive complimentary access to Capital One Lounge and Landing locations.
  • Primary cardholders and eligible additional cardholders that spend at least $75,000 across their Venture X account per calendar year can bring up to two complimentary guests to Capital One Lounges and one complimentary guest to Capital One Landings per visit.
  • Venture X primary cardholders and eligible additional cardholders will continue to receive discounted pricing of $45 per guest per visit, and will receive a discounted rate of $25 per visit per guest 17 and under.
  • Children under two remain free.

  • Venture X Business primary cardholders can pay an annual lounge access fee of $125 per cardholder to grant additional cardholders access to Capital One Lounge and Landing locations, as well as participating Priority Pass lounges.

  • Primary cardholders and eligible additional cardholders that spend at least $75,000 across their Venture X Business account per calendar year can bring up to two complimentary guests to Capital One Lounges and one complimentary guest to Capital One Landings per visit.
  • Venture X Business primary cardholders and eligible additional cardholders will continue to receive discounted pricing of $45 per guest per visit, and will receive a discounted rate of $25 per visit per guest 17 and under.
  • Children under two remain free.
