News: Chase Freedom Q4 Categories Revealed - Credit-Land.com

Those who have been waiting for new categories for the fourth quarter from Chase Freedom®* (not currently available to new applicants), rejoice! You can now log in to your Chase account and activate Q4 2023 categories.

Chase Freedom (no longer available) and Chase Freedom Flex℠ cardholders will enjoy another set of 5% bonus categories this last quarter of the year: PayPal, wholesale clubs, and select charities.

To earn 5% back with PayPal, you will need to select Freedom or Freedom Flex as your preferred payment method in your PayPal account. When you shop at your favorite wholesale clubs, keep in mind that fuel and additional services like travel, insurance and home improvement are not part of the Wholesales Clubs category and will not earn 5% cash back.

If you are the one who loves giving, you'll earn bonus rewards when you use Freedom or Freedom Flex to donate to these charities: American Red Cross, Equal Justice Initiatives, Feeding America, GLSEN, Habitat for Humanity, International Medical Corps, International Rescue Committee, Leadership Conference Education Fund, NAACP Legal Defense and Education Fund, National, Urban League, Out and Equal, Sage, Thurgood Marshall College Fund, United Negro College Fund, UNICEF USA, United Way, World Central Kitchen.

Remember that there is a limit to how much 5% back you can earn in quarter categories. You will earn 5% cash back on up to $1,500 in combined purchases of the Q4 bonus categories.

If you want to maximize 5% cash back earnings in the fourth quarter, consider adding the Discover it® Cash Back credit card to your credit card portfolio. This card will earn 5% cash back at Target from October 1 through December 31, 2023, on up to $1,500 in purchases when you activate.
