News: Navy Federal Refreshed Its Flagship Card to Offer Premium Travel Rewards - Credit-Land.com

Navy Federal Credit Union, the largest credit union in the United States, is now offering its most premium credit card and first metal credit card - the Flagship Premier Visa Signature® credit card. Designed for military servicemembers, veterans and their families, the new Flagship Premier card offers higher rewards on travel and on restaurants, airline credit, Visa Signature benefits, and has a $95 annual fee.

The new Flagship Premier Visa Signature credit card is an upgraded version of the Navy Federal Visa Signature® Flagship Rewards Credit Card*, which stopped accepting new applications on September 10. Existing cardholders can continue using their Flagship Rewards card, or they can switch to the refreshed Flagship Premier card without submitting a new application.

  • 3X points on dining

Cardholders earn rewards on many types of travel spending, including airfare, hotel stays and car rentals. Eligible travel purchases also include vacation rentals, online travel bookings, cruises, timeshares and everyday transit costs like rideshare, parking, buses, tolls and trains.

Plus, there is a promotional offer for new cardmembers: earn 50,000 bonus points after spending $4,000 within the first 90 days of account opening. The welcome offer expires on January 3, 2027.

If you spend a lot on travel and dining, the new Flagship Premier Visa Signature® credit card can be highly rewarding, and you will easily offset the higher annual fee with the $100 annual airline credit. But if you already have a Visa Signature® Flagship Rewards Credit Card and do not spend much on travel, you may want to stick with the older version of the card to continue earning that flat 2x on everything.
