News: Citi Double Cash® Card Got A New Bonus Offer - Credit-Land.com

If you were planning to enjoy this festive season with credit card rewards, Citi® has a great offer for you. The bank gave a new welcome bonus offer for its Citi Double Cash® Card, the one that usually has no bonus offer.

New cardholders can earn $200 cash back after spending $1,500 on purchases in the first six months of account opening. This bonus offer will be credited in the form of ThankYou® Points - 20,000 ThankYou Points. These points can be redeemed for $200 cash back.

Only purchases will qualify towards the minimum spending requirement of the bonus offer. Such transactions as balance transfers, cash advances, checks that access your card account, items returned for credit, unauthorized charges, interest and account fees, travelers checks, foreign currency purchases, money orders, wire transfers (and similar cash-like transactions), lottery tickets, gaming chips (and similar betting transactions) are not purchases and therefore won't qualify.

If you already have the Citi Double Cash® Card, there is good news for you too. For a limited time, you can earn 5% total cash back on hotels, car rentals, and attractions booked through the Citi TravelSM portal. This offer is available now and through the end of 2025.

The new bonus offer and additional cash back on select Citi travel bookings come in addition to the card's standard 2% cash back on purchases. The card will always allow you to earn 1% when you buy and 1% as you pay, which makes a total of 2% cash back. The only requirement to earn cash back is to pay at least the minimum due on time.

If you were on the fence about the Citi Double Cash® Card, the new $200 cash back bonus is something you should look into.
