News: Delta Revamps Its Credit Cards - Credit-Land.com

All four Delta SkyMiles consumer credit cards - Blue, Gold, Platinum, and Reserve - have a new look and the latter two will be made of metal.

Last year it was announced that Delta Air Lines were going to redesign their credit cards. As it was promised, Delta launched its revamped credit cards on January 30, and now they are available for application. Existing cardmembers will get a new card when theirs expires.

The first thing you will notice when you look at new Delta SkyMiles American Express cards is a new look for all four consumer cards. Plus, the Platinum and Reserve SkyMiles AmEx cards will be made of metal, for the first time ever. Then you will probably notice higher fees. However, if you dig into the new features, you will see that the increase in fees is justified.

"The completely reimagined cards are tailored to what our customers told us is most important to them. We are excited to bring years of planning and in-depth research to life with new benefits focused on more ways to earn miles, get to status faster and make travel easier," said Sandeep Dube, Delta's Senior Vice President - Customer Engagement & Loyalty, and CEO - Delta Vacations.
