News: Wyndham and Barclays Introduce New Premium Card and Launch Updated Credit Card Suite - Credit-Land.com

Wyndham Hotels & Resorts and Barclays introduced a new premium-tier credit card and reimagined their Wyndham Rewards® credit card portfolio.

The new Wyndham Rewards Earner® Premier Card* is a premium hotel credit card with a $395 annual fee and a suite of travel-focused perks. The card's current welcome offer allows cardholders to earn up to 120,000 bonus points: 90,000 bonus points for spending $6,000 on purchases and paying the annual fee in full, both within the first 120 days, and plus 30,000 bonus points for spending $750 at Hotels by Wyndham in the first 180 days.

Additionally, cardholders will earn:

  • 8X points on eligible purchases made at Hotels by Wyndham, including hotels through Wyndham Travel Bundles.
  • 4X points on eligible Vacation Club, travel, dining, and grocery store purchases (excluding Target® and Walmart®).
  • 1X points on all other purchases.
  • 30,000 anniversary bonus points each year after paying the annual fee.
  • $100 statement credit after making eligible hotel purchases.
  • Up to $120 statement credit after making eligible meal delivery purchases.
  • Up to $100 statement credit after making eligible streaming service purchases.
  • $65 statement credit after making eligible wholesale membership club purchases.
  • Up to $120 statement credit after applying for TSA Precheck or Global Entry.
  • Wyndham Rewards DIAMOND member level.
  • A complementary Wyndham Rewards Insider membership ($95 value).

The credits and benefits are worth over $400 in annual value. Plus, members can save 25% on free-night redemptions and get an annual free-night award, which may potentially offset the card's annual fee.

Other Wyndham Rewards Earner cards are refreshed as well. The Wyndham Rewards Earner® Card*, Wyndham Rewards Earner® Plus Card*, and Wyndham Rewards Earner® Business Card* got updated earning structures, including up to 8X points on Wyndham stays, new welcome bonuses, new award redemption discounts, and expanded cardholder perks.
