The new Marriott Bonvoy Amex cards are out and now new cardholders are eligible to get 100,000 bonus points. All they have to do to get the bonus points is spend $5000 with their new card within 90 days of getting it. The bonus is available for the Marriott Bonvoy Brilliant American Express Card and the Marriott Bonvoy Business American Express Card. It is a time-limited bonus, which expires on April 24, 2019.

This bonus gets new cardholders off to a good start in terms of rewards and travel. From that point on they continue to earn 6x points per dollar when booking stays at Marriott Bonvoy hotels. And with both cards, people get a free night each year on their anniversary.

With this card not only do people earn 6x points when booking rooms at Marriott Bonvoy hotels they earn triple points when eating out at U.S. restaurants and when booking flights as long as they are bought directly from the airline. And all other purchases earn them double points.

The cost of travel can add up, so to offset expenses cardholders also get up to $300 in statement credits every year for purchases made at Marriott Bonvoy hotels.

Cardholders who like to chill out in the lounge while traveling will be happy to know that they get unlimited airport lounge visits once they enroll in Priority Pass Select membership. Free Gold Elite Status also comes along with this card.

They also get a credit toward getting Global Entry or TSA Pre-check, and there are no Foreign Transaction Fees with this card.

The annual fee for this card is $450.

The Marriott Bonvoy Business American Express Card

Cardholders who go for the business card earn quadruple points when eating out at U.S. restaurants, hitting gas stations in the U.S., paying for U.S. based wireless services and domestic shipping. All other purchases get them double points.

Marriott Bonvoy Silver Elite status is also part of their card package, and they can upgrade to Gold Elite status with a $35,000 spend during the year. When traveling abroad there are no Foreign Transaction Fees when using this card.

The annual fee is waived for the first year, and then from that point on it is $95 per year.
