News: New Capital One Lounge Access Policy Now In Effect - Credit-Land.com

New Capital One lounge access policies for Capital One Venture X Rewards Credit Card and Capital One Venture X Business* cardmembers officially went into effect on February 1, 2026.

Venture X and Venture X Business primary cardholders can still enjoy complimentary access to Capital One Lounges. However, the rules for guest access have changed. Previously, cardholders could bring guests into Capital One Lounges, Capital One Landings, and Priority Pass lounges at no additional cost. Now guests should pay to get in.

Another significant change is for Venture X authorized users. Previously, authorized users could also receive complimentary Capital One Lounge, Capital One Landing, and Priority Pass lounge access. Now, there is a cost associated with authorized users.

Here is an overview of airport lounge access policies for each card.

Venture X cardholders:

  • Primary cardholders enjoy complimentary access to Capital One Lounge and Capital One Landing locations, including to Priority Pass lounges after enrollment.
  • Primary cardholders can purchase airport lounge access for additional cardholders for an annual lounge access fee of $125 per additional cardholder. This will grant additional cardholders access to Capital One Lounges, Capital One Landings and participating Priority Pass lounges. Must be at least 18 years old to be eligible.
  • Primary cardholders that spend at least $75,000 total on purchases across their Venture X account per calendar year can bring up to 2 complimentary guests to Capital One Lounges and 1 complimentary guest to Capital One Landings per visit. This benefit also applies to additional cardholders on the account who've paid the $125 annual lounge access fee.
  • Venture X cardholders receive discounted pricing of $45 per visit per guest 18 and older and $25 per visit per guest 17 and under. Children under 2 can enter for free.
  • Venture X cardholders enrolled in Priority Pass may bring guests at a rate of $35 per guest per visit.

Venture X Business cardholders:

  • Primary cardholders enjoy complimentary access to Capital One Lounge and Capital One Landing locations, including to participating Priority Pass lounges, after enrollment.
  • Primary cardholders can purchase airport lounge access for up to 4 additional cardholders for an annual lounge access fee of $125 per additional cardholder. This will grant additional cardholders access to Capital One Lounges, Capital One Landings and participating Priority Pass lounges. Must be at least 18 years old to be eligible.
  • Primary cardholders that spend at least $75,000 total on purchases across their Venture X Business account per calendar year can bring up to 2 complimentary guests to Capital One Lounges and 1 complimentary guest to Capital One Landings per visit. This benefit also applies to additional cardholders on the account who've paid the $125 annual lounge access fee.
  • Venture X Business cardholders receive discounted pricing of $45 per visit per guest 18 and older and $25 per visit per guest 17 and under. Children under 2 can enter for free.
  • Venture X Business cardholders enrolled in Priority Pass may bring up to 2 complimentary guests per visit and any additional guests at a rate of $35 per visit per guest.

Those who have the Capital One Venture Rewards Credit Card or the Capital One Spark Miles Card* can purchase passes to Capital One Lounge and Capital One Landing locations at a discounted rate of $45 per visit per guest ($25 for guests under 17, and children under 2 can enter for free).

All other travelers, including those who do not have a Capital One credit card, can enter Capital One Lounge and Capital One Landing locations at the standard rate of $90 per visit per guest.
