It's been months since Gemini announced its credit card and waitlisting. Now, the Gemini Credit Card is available for application in all 50 states. The card is issued by WebBank and features Mastercard as the card network.
Gemini is a cryptocurrency platform that allows customers to buy, sell, earn, and store crypto like bitcoin or ether. Last year, Gemini announced their first credit card with crypto rewards, and the card is finally available to the public. Cardholders can earn up to 3% crypto back on dining (on up to $6,000 in annual spend, then 1%), 2% crypto back on groceries, and 1% crypto back on all other purchases. All crypto rewards are automatically deposited to the cardholder's Gemini account.
Gemini allows cardholders to earn crypto rewards in any of its 60+ types of cryptocurrencies, including bitcoin, ether, dogecoin and other tokens. When a cardholder makes a purchase with their Gemini Credit Card, Gemini automatically converts the USD value of the reward into the selected cryptocurrency and deposits it into the cardholder's Gemini account. Cardholders can change the selected crypto rewards without any limitation, so they can earn different cryptocurrencies over the course of each month.
Since the Gemini Credit Card is a Mastercard credit card, it can be used anywhere Mastercard cards are accepted. Plus, the card comes with World Mastercard® Benefits like Mastercard ID Theft Protection™, Zero Liability and Price Protection.
For those who are interested in investing in crypto, Gemini Credit Card is one of many crypto rewards credit cards that makes it easier.
