How does it work? New cardholders can earn the 60,000 Flying Club bonus miles once they spend $2,000 with their new card. This needs to occur during the first three months they have their new card. It is important to note that this bonus is time-sensitive.

But that is not all, they can earn an additional 15,000 bonus miles on their anniversary when they make the qualifying spend. They also get an extra 5,000 miles when they add an authorized user to their credit card. When you do the math it all comes out to 80,000 extra miles to use toward flights and travel.

What about upping your Flying club status? Cardholders get 25 tier points for every $2,500 they spend. It is important to note that there is a cap on how many tier points they can accrue. Cardholders can earn up to 50 tier points per month, which can be used to elevate their Flying Club status.

With this card, there are foreign transaction fees to deal with when traveling.
