You don't have to do anything special to earn the match - Discover will match all the cash back earned your first year automatically (providing you're a new cardmember). Earning Cash Back

The Discover it® Cash Back credit card offers general 1% cash back on all purchases and 5% cash back on up to $1,500 in purchases when you activate. Every quarter you should sign up for 5% cash back bonus, otherwise you won't be eligible for it.

This card comes with great earning cash back opportunity - all the cash back earned at the end of your first year will be matched automatically (if you are a new cardmember). For example, if you earn $150 cash back during the first year, you will receive another $150 when the first year of cardmembership is over. That totals $300 cash back the first year.

How to Redeem Cash Back

Your cash rewards never expire, you can redeem them any amount, any time. Discover offers many ways to redeem:
