I wanted to apply for the Exxon MasterCard but it seems they no longer offer it. I wanted a card that I could use at Exxon and at other shops to buy groceries or pay bills. I do fill up at Exxon often but not all the time. What card can you recommend?

A credit card with gas rewards that is offered by major bank will be a good option for you. Since gas purchases will not be the only charges to your credit card we would recommend you to skip co-branded credit cards and look for bank offers. Some credit cards give more points for gas purchases and less for other purchases. For example, the Discover it® Cash Back will let you earn up to 5% cash back on fuel during its rotating category quarter up to the quarterly maximum each time you activate and offers 1% cash back on all others purchases. Discover will match ALL the cash back you’ve earned at the end of your first year, automatically (if you are a new cardmember). There’s no signing up. And no limit to how much is matched.Note that this card comes with no annual fee, so you can earn more using this card.
