If your quarter gas spendings are up to $1,000, you can get the Discover it® Chrome card. It will allow you to earn 2% cash back on gas purchases and on purchases at restaurants. Once these purchases reach $1,000 cap in a given quarter, your cash back will be lowered to a regular 1% cash back. All other purchases will earn 1% cash back without caps or limitations. Also, if you have a balance on your Shell card, you will be able to transfer it to the Discover it® Chrome card and pay it off at 0% intro APR. You will have 15 months to pay off the transferred balance. Note that when the introductory interest rate is over, the ongoing APR of 17.24% - 28.24% Variable APR will apply.
