I am fairly new to the world of credit and I wanted to apply for a credit card that would allow me to start building my credit history. I have considered a few potential credit card options; however, I was also considering the Newegg card. Do you think the Newegg card is a good card for me to start with?

If you are looking for a credit card to start building your credit profile with, there are a few features that you need to have in those cards. First off, whatever card it is that you apply for, it should be reporting all of your credit activity to major credit bureaus. This is important because it actually allows you to build your credit profile. Another thing to ensure is that whatever card you apply for, it should be a card that is not going to earn you an unpayable debt. Late or missed payments could reflect very negatively on your credit score. We would recommend that you skip the Newegg credit card, and look for a more general card, and use that card responsibly.
