In order to take part in Menards' no-interest financing plans, you must be a Menards Big Card holder. To get the Menards Big Card, you can either visit your local Menards store and apply in-store or you can visit their website and fill out a Menards application online. Once approved, you will have access to up to 48 months of financing on Menards purchases.

All qualifying Menards purchases over $299 made with the Menards Big Card, will qualify for 6 months of no interest financing. To qualify for the 48-month no-interest financing plan, your purchase must have a minimum total of $1,500. Instead of receiving no-interest like you do with the 6-month plan, you will receive 48 months of interest at a rate of 3.99%.

When taking part in the 6-month financing plan, you must be sure to pay off your entire balance on time. Failure to do so will void the offer and make you responsible for all interest payments at the variable APR of 27.99%. This card will be less appealing to those who only shop at Menards occasionally.

If you want to take advantage of special financing options on all purchases, it's better to consider a regular credit card with a 0% intro APR on purchases. When you have a 0% Intro APR on purchases, you won't be charged interest during the intro period. But be sure to pay at least the monthly minimum due, and more if you can. Once the intro period expires, the standard purchase APR will apply to the remaining and new balance. For example, take a look at low intro APR offers that are currently available from Discover: the Discover it® Miles card and the Discover it® Cash Back card are both offering a 0% Intro APR for 15 months on purchases. Then 17.24% - 28.24% Variable APR applies, based on credit worthiness. Both cards allow you to earn rewards and give a dollar-for-dollar match of all the rewards you've earned at the end of your first year, automatically, provided you are a new cardmember.
