In order to take part in Menards' no-interest financing plans, you must be a Menards® BIG Card® cardholder. To get the Menards Big Card, you can either visit your local Menards store and apply in-store or you can visit their website and fill out a Menards application online. Once approved, you will have access to up to 48 months of special financing on Menards purchases.

Qualifying Menards purchases over $299 made with the Menards Big Card will qualify for 6 months of no interest financing if paid in full in 6 months. To qualify for the 12-month no-interest financing plan, your purchase must be over $599. Plus, there is an option of getting 48-month financing with equal payments at 5.99% APR on purchases of $1,500 and above.

When taking part in the 6-month financing plan, you must be sure to pay off your entire balance on time. Failure to do so will void the offer and make you responsible for all interest payments at the variable APR of 28.99%. Other special financing options do not have this requirement, though. With the 12-month and 48-month offers, the standard variable purchase APR of 28.99% will apply to your remaining program balance.

Another thing to note about the special financing with the Menards credit card is that you won't earn a 2% rebate on Menards purchases if you choose financing. You can choose either the 2% rebate or special financing, but never both.

If you are planning a big purchase at Menards and need some time to pay it off, you can consider credit cards with 0% intro APRs on purchases. Such cards are more flexible, as they are not tied to a specific brand, a 0% intro APR applies to all purchases, and the cards can be used anywhere. Plus, with a good credit history, you can find credit cards that offer rewards and 0% intro APRs. There are many credit cards with welcome bonuses that can help you save on your purchases at Menards and all other purchases.
