If you want to get rid of your Scheels co-branded card, you can get any credit card that allows balance transfers. If you’re carrying a balance on your card, you’ll probably want to get a new card that has a low interest rate. Many even come with an introductory rate of 0% for balance transfers.

Some cards will add balance transfer fees, though. Those fees are typically around 3% of the amount transferred. Be to read the fine print or to call the credit card issuer before you apply in order to avoid any unnecessary costs.
