Brussels Airlines uses Miles & More, Lufthansa's frequent flyer program along with their own Loop program. If you decide to enroll Miles and More you will earn miles rewards on flights operated by airlines which are part of the program, in addition to flights operated by Star Alliance airlines. By choosing Loop you will narrow your rewards earning potential only to Brussels Airlines operated flights. Each program has its own restrictions, like limited awards tickets availability or blackout dates etc. If you do not want to deeply think through and plan your trip at least to half a year forward, you'd better choose general travel rewards card. Such cards have decent rewards programs and does not limit you only to one airline and it partners (you can redeem miles to any travel expenses). Moreover, general cards tend to have lower rates and fees compared to the co-branded airline cards.
