Is Princess Cruises rewards credit card a good choice to earn points for cruises?

Princess Cruises Rewards Visa card is a good choice for those who travel with this cruise a lot – it gives 2 points for purchases with Princess Cruises. Cardholders who don’t take Princess Cruises will only receive 1 point per dollar on all other purchases. Unfortunately, this card doesn’t provide many benefits. Surely, you may benefit from no annual fee and no foreign transaction fees, but the APR is rather high.

If you are not an avid cruiser and want to accumulate rewards faster, consider general travel credit card like the Discover it® Miles credit card with unlimited 1.5x miles on all purchases. The Discover matches all miles you’ve earned your first year (if you are a new cardmember). For example, if you earn 30,000 miles, you get 60,000 miles. This card comes with 0% APR on Purchases for 14 months (when the introductory interest rate is over, the ongoing APR will apply).
