There are currently no co-branded Air China credit cards available for applicants in the U.S. So the best choice would be a travel rewards credit card.
There are various travel rewards credit cards, and it might be hard to choose one best credit card for you. But if you are new to travel rewards or do not travel more than one or two times a year, look for simple credit cards with moderate annual fees. It might be a credit card with cash back or a card that offers a higher rewards rate on travel purchases. Such cards usually come with low to no annual fees, allow you to earn rewards without flying, and allow you to redeem earned rewards as statement credits or cash.
If you are an avid traveler and want your new credit card to have some travel benefits in addition to travel rewards, then look for travel rewards credit cards like the Citi Strata Elite℠ Card or the Chase Sapphire Reserve® Credit Card*. Such cards come with various travel credits and benefits like lounge access, upgrades, points transfers, or priority boarding. Air China is a member of Star Alliance, so the points transfer benefit can become quite a valuable feature. The only drawback of such cards is that they also come with high annual fees and require good-to-excellent credit ratings to qualify.
