Hyatt credit card is a co-branded card of Hyatt offered by Chase that gives you 4 points for staying at all Hyatt hotels and resorts, 2 points for restaurant or airline tickets purchased directly from the airline and at car rental agencies and 1 point on all other purchases. There is also a sign-up bonus of up to 60,000 points: 30,000 points after you spend $3,000 on purchases within the first 3 months of account opening. Plus, up to 30,000 more points by earning 2 points total per $1 spent in the first 6 months from account opening on purchases, on up to $15,000 spent. This card offers good rewards for Hyatt stays, but rewards on all other purchases are low. You can redeem your points toward free nights at Hyatt and room upgrades. You'll hardly be able to use this points anywhere else. That's why we recommend you apply for a general rewards credit card instead. A good card to get is the Discover it® Miles credit card. It gives you unlimited 1.5 miles on all purchases, matches all of your earned miles at the end of the first year (if you are a new cardmember) and you can redeem rewards for any travel expenses, including Hyatt stays, flights, popular cruises and other travel expenses. What is more, this card comes with no annual fee and no foreign transaction fee - use your card with no additional costs.
