The World of Hyatt Credit Card* is a co-branded card of Hyatt offered by Chase that gives you up to 9X total points for staying at Hyatt hotels and resorts, 2 points on dining, airline tickets purchased directly from the airline, local transit and commuting as well as gym memberships, and 1X points on all other purchases. There is also a sign-up bonus of up to 60,000 bonus points: 30,000 bonus points after you spend $3,000 on purchases within the first 3 months of account opening. Plus, up to 30,000 more points by earning 2 bonus points total per $1 spent in the first 6 months from account opening on purchases that normally earn 1 bonus point, on up to $15,000 spent.

This card offers good rewards for Hyatt stays, but rewards on all other purchases are rather low. You can redeem your points toward free nights at Hyatt and room upgrades. You'll hardly be able to use earned points anywhere else. Plus, there is an annual fee for the card

Like with any co-branded credit card, the World of Hyatt Credit Card can be a good option for loyal customers who often stay at Hyatt hotels and hotels that participate in World of Hyatt.

If you are not a member of their loyalty program and do not stay at Hyatt hotels all the time, then you may want to apply for a general rewards credit card. Such a credit card will give you more flexibility in where to earn and redeem rewards.
