Have you been thinking about applying for the IHG Rewards Club Premier credit card? If so, you may want to check it out now because they just increased the bonus – bumping it up from 80,000 points to 100,000 points. Cardholders get the bonus points once they spend $3,000 during the first 90 days of having the card.

With this card, they also earn ten points for every dollar they spend when booking stays with any of the over 5,200 IHG hotels located around the world. Cardholders also get double points when pulling up to gas stations, as well as when eating out and buying groceries. All other purchases earn them one point per dollar.

With this card, people can also earn additional bonus points. They can get 10,000 bonus points with a $20,000 spend during the course of a year. The points are awarded on their anniversary if they have met the spending threshold.

But that is not all, if they add an authorized user to their account, they get another 5,000 bonus points. In order to get the bonus, the authorized user must make a purchase within 90 days of having the card.

Free nights and platinum status

A free night is always a great bonus, and people with the IHG Rewards Club Premier credit card get a free night when it’s their anniversary. The free night is good for a stay at eligible hotels located around the globe.

And there is more – when cardholders book stays of four nights or more, they get a free night as long as they booked their stay using reward points.

Cardholders also get Platinum Elite Status automatically once they are approved for the card, and they keep it as long as they have their card.

Travel perks and more

When using this card abroad, there are no foreign transaction fees for cardholders to deal with, so they’ll save some money.

They also get a $100 credit to cover the cost of applying for Global Entry or TSA PreCheck. This credit is given once every four years.
