Wing members who also have an American Express Platinum Credit Card can now scoop up a $50 credit that can be used at Perch cafes located inside Wing locations across the United States. They can use this credit to buy any kind of beverage or food being offered at the café, whether they are looking to get revved up with a latte or chill out with a glass of wine. This credit is in play from now until the end of this year. But what about people who have the non-platinum American express card? They are not left out in the cold they can take advantage of a $10 credit being offered. For Platinum cardholders, this means their credit is bumped up to $60.

There are currently seven Wing locations up and running, located in four cities - New York, Chicago, San Francisco and Washington, D.C. They are also planning on opening locations in Seattle, Boston, London and Toronto over the next 24 months. A yearly Wing membership can set people back a bit with fees falling in the $2,350 to $2,700 range.

The cafe

The Perch Café has the distinction of serving food that is procured directly from local, women-owned farms and restaurants, as well as beverages from women-owned breweries, and wineries.

At these cafes, they also go one step further with proceeds from special menus and dishes they have developed going to support nonprofits in the areas.

The ins and outs of the Platinum Card

With the Platinum credit card from American Express, new cardholders can earn 60,000 points once they spend $5,000 within the first three months they have this card. They also earn 5X points when booking flights directly from an airline or if the use American Express Travel to book their flight. They also earn 5x points when prepaying for hotel stays as long as they do so via amextravel.com.

They also get access to a variety of perks including $15 in Uber credits when using the ride-sharing service in the United States. This is a monthly credit, and they also get an additional one in December for $20.

Cardholders can also get up to $200 in statement credits every year to cover the cost of incidental travel costs and fees, like checked bags and in-flight refreshments. All they must do is pay for these extras using their Platinum Card.
