News: Bilt Now Allows Using Bilt Points and Bilt Cash for BLADE Flights - Credit-Land.com

After going through an upgrade this year - introducing Bilt Cash and Bilt 2.0 Cards - Bilt continues to improve its marketplace and member benefits. This time a new long-anticipated redemption option was added for Bilt Cash.

Bilt members can now book Blade flights directly in the Bilt Travel Portal without any need to switch apps or use a separate checkout. Plus, for the first time, members can use Bilt Points and Bilt Cash to pay for Blade bookings.

With direct booking, Bilt members can search, select, and book Blade at the Bilt Travel Portal without leaving the Bilt app. Plus, when at checkout, members can apply Bilt Points toward any Blade booking made through the Bilt Travel Portal. Points can be used to cover full booking, or they can be combined with cash.

Those members with Bilt Cash sitting around can now also redeem them toward Blade bookings: up to $350 per seat, for up to 2 flights per calendar year. Bilt members will see their Bilt Cash credit automatically as a payment option at checkout. Bilt Cash can be combined with Bilt Points and any linked card at checkout. Members won't be able to use Bilt Cash towards additional charges like luggage fees, though.

Among the three recently introduced Bilt credit cards, there's one with a welcome offer that is enough to cover a helicopter transfer to or from JFK or EWR. Thus, those who apply for the Bilt Palladium Card can get $300 of Bilt Cash, plus 50,000 Bilt Points and Bilt Gold Status after spending $4,000 on everyday purchases in the first 90 days from account opening.

These new benefits come on top of Bilt's existing Blade benefits, which include:

  • All Bilt Members earn +2X Bilt Points on Blade bookings made through the Bilt Travel Portal
  • Silver, Gold, and Platinum members receive 10% off Blade bookings made through the Bilt app
  • Gold and Platinum members have access to Blade lounges, even on days you're not flying (during operating hours; includes up to 2 drinks per visit)
  • Platinum members can claim one complimentary Blade flight per year from Manhattan to JFK or Newark, plus lounge access.
