News: Now Get 60,000 Bonus Miles with the United Explorer Card - Credit-Land.com

New cardholders can get even more bonus miles with the United Explorer Credit Card due to a recent upgrade giving them the chance to earn up to 60,000 bonus miles. How does it work? It's fairly simple they get 40,000 miles after spending $2,000 during the first 3 months that they have the card, which is the same amount United was offering new cardholders in the past. But with this upgrade, they can earn another 20,000 bonus miles once they spend $8,000 in total during the first 6 months they have their new card. New cardholders can take advantage of this offer until May 16, 2018.

Earning Double points

Once new cardholders have maxed out their bonus miles they can still earn rewards. In fact, they can earn double points when eating out at restaurants whether they are at a four-star restaurant or a fast food joint. They also earn double points when booking flights with United Airlines and booking hotel stays. All other purchases get them one mile per dollar spent.

Also points never expire, as long as the cardholder's account is open.

When using points to book flights there are also no blackout dates to deal with, and cardholders can book flights with Star Alliance, as well as other partner airlines. Miles can also be used to get gift cards, car rentals, and merchandise.

Travel perks and benefits

With the United Explorer Credit Card cardholders also get access to a variety of perks and benefits including getting their first checked bag for free. Their traveling partner can get a free checked bag too.

Priority boarding is also part of this cards package, as is getting a duo of United Club passes on their anniversary. Each of these passes is good for one visit to the lounge.

Getting the Global Entry or TSA Precheck can cost you a bit of money, but with this card, people get a $100 credit to use toward the fee, as long as they pay for it with their United Explorer card.

While in the air they also get 25% back when buying drinks, food, and Wi-Fi, as long as they are flying with United. When traveling abroad there are no foreign transaction fees to deal with.
