Unified loyalty program, and a new card
The launch of this new card comes after the roll out of Marriott's unified loyalty program. The Starwood Preferred Guest American Express Luxury card is seen as a way to provide cardholders with more value when traveling.
"No matter where life or business may take our Card Members, our SPG card products are meant to support them throughout every step of their travel journey," said Eva Reda, Executive Vice President, Global Cobrand Partnerships at American Express.
