balance transfer CREDIT
When you have too much debt on one or several credit cards with high interest, it may be challenging to make all monthly payments. In this case, you may want to pay off part or all of your debt. The easiest way to do that is to transfer that high-interest debt to a credit card with 0% intro APR on balance transfers. There are many balance transfer credit card options but note that not all credit card issuers offer zero interest on balance transfers. For example, American Express currently does not offer balance transfers. And for example, if you are considering the no annual fee Blue Cash Everyday® Card, you are out of luck. The card (as many other AmEx cards) has no 0% promotional APR on balance transfers. You'd better check out other 0% promotional credit cards instead.

The Citi Custom CashSM Card is a compelling offer for those who want to save up to 5% on purchases. Unlike other cash back credit cards with rewards on fixed categories each month, the Citi Custom CashSM Card provides a unique ability to earn up to 5% back on your top eligible spending category each billing cycle, on up to the first $500 spent. A low introductory interest rate, along with no annual fee, makes the card especially valuable. What makes it really appealing for new cardholders is an easy-attained sign-up bonus of $200 in cash back after spending $750 on purchases in the first 3 months of account opening.
How to put
0% promotional APR TO
If you intend to keep the new balance transfer credit card after all debt is paid off, you may want that card to have a rewards program. Many balance transfer credit cards offer rewards and welcome bonuses in addition to promotional rates. However, remember that if you are planning to make purchases on the new card while paying off the transferred balance, you may be charged interest for those purchases. So you can either pay off the purchase balance in full each month, or get a balance transfer credit card that has 0% intro APR on purchases too. This way, it will be easier for you to pay off your debt and potentially qualify for a bonus offer.
Today it's hard to find a no balance transfer fee credit card. Still, it's usually cheaper to pay a balance transfer fee than to pay interest. The balance transfer fee ranges from 3% to 5%, so make sure you keep it low when choosing a balance transfer credit card. The new balance transfer fee credit card may also charge some other fees, like an annual fee. Ideally, you would prefer a no annual fee credit card. Luckily, there are good credit card options out there that offer both 0% intro APR on balance transfers and a $0 annual fee.
Intro 0% APR on balance transfers can help you get rid of your debt and save money. Credit cards can offer 6, 9, 12, 14, 15, 18, 20 or 21 months of introductory 0% APR on balance transfers. So you can basically find a credit card with the most comfortable introductory period for you. Just remember that most balance transfer credit cards charge a balance transfer fee, so take this into account as well when you look for a credit card to transfer some debt. Also, pay attention to what interest rate you are to expect after that introductory period ends. When the promo period ends, you will be charged a go-to APR, but you can avoid that too by paying the entire balance in full every month.
