I had Citgo credit card and my credit was good but the bank lowered my credit limit on the Citgo card which caused the drop of my credit score. Now my score is close to good but not good. I’m planning to close my Citgo credit card and looking for a card to replace it. Can you recommend me a card which will earn rewards on gas purchases?

A Discover credit card can be a good alternative to a Citgo credit card. And since you are planning to close your Citgo credit card, you may want to transfer its balance to a new credit card to pay it off at 0% interest. For example, the Discover it® chrome card gives 2% cash back at gas stations and restaurants on up to $1,000 in combined purchases every quarter. All other purchases will earn 1% cash back. You don’t need to sign up, you just use the card and earn cash back. The card also has a 14-month 0% APR on purchases and balance transfers (when the introductory interest rate is over, the ongoing APR will apply), has no annual fee and no foreign transaction fees.
