Hello, I frequently take Uber rides and I recently found out that Uber offers their own credit card. What are the features and benefits that are included with it and do you think it’s worth applying for?

The Uber credit card offers multiple benefits including a sign-up bonus and rewards earning system. By spending a total of $500 on purchases in the first 90 days, you will earn $100 back. Rewards will be earned on every purchase that is made with the card: 4% is earned back on dining purchases and 3% is earned back on travel purchases including hotels, airfare and vacation home rentals. When making online purchases or taking Uber rides, 2% is earned back and when making purchases from anywhere else, 1% is earned. Additional benefits of having this card include a yearly $50 subscription credit, up to $600 in mobile phone protection and no foreign transaction fees on purchases. Although Uber offers their own credit card, their card may not be the best credit card for your needs. Before settling on a co-branded credit card, it’s always good to consider all your options first.
