Every month you should receive monthly statement, either online or in print. This statement tells you your current balance but what if you are between statements and want to check the balance of your credit card? Look at the back of your credit card: there must be a telephone number and a website printed. Call the number or visit a website. When you are calling you may be asked to provide credit card number (or account number), personal identification number or part of your address or Social Security number. Listen carefully what operator says and follow the steps.

If you have an online account it is even easier to check your credit card balance. Visit the site printed on the back of your credit card and log in.
