Since you do not fly Hawaiian Airlines, it might be worth closing your Hawaiian Airlines credit card and opening an AAdvantage credit card. However, there was a significant change to the Hawaiian Airlines' loyalty program and credit cards: Hawaiian HawaiianMiles and Alaska's Mileage Plan loyalty programs merged under a new name, Atmos Rewards. Atmos Rewards can be used to book with Alaska Airlines and with Hawaiian Airlines. So if you fly Alaska, you may want to keep your Hawaiian Airlines World Elite Mastercard* credit card.
If the new Atmos Rewards program is still of no use to you, then it can be worth applying for the Citi® / AAdvantage® Platinum Select® World Elite Mastercard®* or the more expensive Citi® / AAdvantage® Globe Mastercard®. Both cards offer enough benefits to cover the annual fee, provided you are going to use those benefits. Also, the miles you earn with either card can be used to get an award travel with American Airlines or its partners. Simply make some calculations and if the perks are not worth the card expenses, then you may want to get a travel rewards credit card with no annual fee.
