You can use the Discover it® Miles credit card to earn miles and then redeem them for United Air flights. The card allows to earn 1.5 miles on all purchases. The miles basically work like cash back rewards and therefore they cannot be transferred to any frequent flyer program. However, earned miles can be redeemed for any travel purchase or cash. The Discover it® Miles card has no annual fee, no foreign transaction fee, and it comes with a 15-month 0% intro APR on purchases (when the introductory interest rate is over, then 17.24% - 28.24% Variable APR on purchases will apply).
