You can apply for a general travel rewards credit card with no annual fee. For example, the Discover it® Miles credit card may be a good choice. You wiil earn unlimited 1.5x miles for every dollar spent on all purchases all with no annual fee. Discover will match all the miles you've earned at the end of your first year (if you are a new cardmember). This means if you earn 35,000 Miles, you get 70,000 Miles. That's $700 towards travel! This card is also good for travel abroad - you won't be charged a foreign transaction fee.
