When applying for Cathay Pacific credit card remember that you can receive two variants of their card. You will receive simple Visa card instead of Visa Signature if you do not qualify for the latter. Visa Signature credit card is better than Visa in terms of rates. Unfortunately, you cannot influence which card you will get. It all depends of your credit history and different bank criteria.
