The Wyndham Rewards® EarnerSM Card is a co-branded card of Wyndham offered by Barclays that gives you 5 points for staying at participating Hotels By Wyndham and gas purchases, 2 points on dining and grocery purchases (excluding Target® and Walmart®) and 1 point on all other purchases. This card offers good rewards for Wyndham stays, but rewards on all other purchases are low. You can redeem your points toward free nights at Wyndham and room upgrades. You'll hardly be able to use this points anywhere else. That's why we recommend you apply for a general rewards credit card instead. A good card to get is the Discover it® Miles credit card. It gives you unlimited 1.5 miles on all purchases, matches all of your earned miles at the end of the first year (if you are a new cardmember) and you can redeem rewards for any travel expenses, including Wyndham stays, flights, popular cruises and other travel expenses.
