News: Activate 5% Cash Back for Next Quarter with Chase Freedom - Credit-Land.com

Chase has recently revealed bonus categories for the second quarter of 2023 for Chase Freedom (no longer available to new applicants) and Chase Freedom Flex℠ cards. Cardholders can now log in and activate.

New categories for Q2 are Lowe's and Amazon.com. Lowe's includes purchases made at Lowe's physical stores and Lowes.com. The Amazon.com category includes purchases made at Amazon.com (including digital downloads, Amazon.com gift cards, Amazon Fresh orders, Amazon Prime subscriptions and items sold by third-party merchants through Amazon.com's marketplace) and Whole Foods Market (including physical Whole Foods Market and Whole Foods Market 365 stores, and wholefoodsmarket.com).

Chase Freedom and Chase Freedom Flex cardmembers can already activate their card to ensure they will earn 5% cash back in those categories from April 1 through June 30, 2023. The Q2 categories can be activated by June 14, 2023, then the activation will be closed.

After activation, cardmembers will earn 5% back on up to $1,500 of spending in those categories during the second quarter. When the limit is reached, all quarter categories will continue earning 1% cash back.

While waiting for the second quarter, cardmembers still have time to maximize in current 5% categories, which are grocery stores, Target, fitness clubs and gym memberships.
