News: American Express Opened Centurion Lounge in New Location - Credit-Land.com

American Express opened a new Centurion Lounge at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA). The new lounge is 14,000 square foot, which is nearly triple size of the original Centurion Lounge at SEA. The lounge is located in the newly created mezzanine level of the Central Terminal post-security.

The new Centurion Lounge at SEA offers spectacular views of the airfield and iconic Olympic mountains. There is plenty of room for guests to relax or work before the flight. The lounge includes more seating areas to cater the needs of every traveler. Additionally, there are more restrooms, private phone rooms, noise-buffering workspaces and high-speed Wi-Fi.

Plus, this Centurion Lounge has the first network's full-service coffee bar with counter service - "Blue Roast by American Express." Baristas will serve espresso beverages, cold brew, and rotating seasonal specialty coffee drinks from local Seattle roaster Caffè Umbria.

Chef Kristi Brown, James Beard Award semifinalist, will bring her signature "Seattle Soul" cuisine to the lounge. That means you will enjoy traditional soul food and flavors from communities represented in the Pacific Northwest, including Southeast Asia and East and West Africa. The menu at the lounge will feature dishes like Trinidadian Spiced Pork Belly, Blackened Chicken Cobb Salad, and "Peach Cobbla" French Toast, the chef's twist on the traditional breakfast treat.

American Express now has more airport lounges than any other credit card issuer on the market. Amex is continuing to expand and enhance The Centurion Lounge network. There are new locations under construction in Washington, D.C.'s Reagan National Airport (DCA) and the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL). Plus, its location at San Francisco International Airport (SFO) has recently been expanded.
