They now will get 20% back when they pay for in-flight purchases using their Alaska Airlines Visa Signature credit card. Eligible purchases include food, beverages and Wi-Fi. Cardholders will get the 20% back via a credit to their statement.

But that is not all those who want to head over to an Alaska lounge while they wait for their flight can now get 50% off day passes. Cardholders might be wondering if any benefits that currently come along with this card are going away, and they will be glad to know that everything else is staying the same.

Bonus points and Companion fares

This card comes along with 40,000 bonus miles for new cardholders. All they need to do is spend $2000 using their Alaska Airlines Visa Signature credit card within the first three months of having the card.

Along with the bonus points, cardholders get a Companion Fare from $121 with their new membership. Here too they must spend $2,000 during the first three months to get this offer. Once they meet the requirements they can get the companion fare as long as they book their flights via alaskaair.com, and there are no blackout dates to deal with when using this offer.

Once cardholders get their 40,000 bonus miles they still keep earning miles. They get triple points when making eligible Alaska Airlines purchases, and one point for all other purchases. There is no mileage cap and miles never expire as long as the card is active.

Since this is an airline credit card there are flight related perks that go along with it, including a free checked bag when flying with Alaska Airlines. This offer is good for the cardholder and up to six guests flying with them using the same reservation.

There are no foreign transaction fees when using this card when traveling abroad. The annual fee for the Alaska Airlines Visa Signature credit card is $75 and people can get more information about it via the website.
