News: The New HSBC Premier World Elite MasterCard - Credit-Land.com

HSBC has rolled out the new Premier World Elite MasterCard, offering triple points on travel whether domestic or international and includes earning points on airfare, hotels and train rides, along with being able to earn points when using Uber and Lyft. Cardholders also earn double points when eating out, and one point per dollar on everything else.

People also earn 50,000 bonus points with $4,000 in spend over the first three months they have the card. When redeeming points for air travel via HSBC’s travel rewards website their value increases by 50%.

“We listened to what our customers wanted in a premium credit card and built a product that provides the ultimate support for their lifestyle,” said Pablo Sanchez, Head of Retail Banking and Wealth Management for HSBC in the US and Canada.

More travel benefits

When traveling abroad there are no foreign transaction fees to deal with when using this card. People also get an annual $100 statement credit to cover the cost of everything from flights and baggage fees, to upgrades and air travel purchases. They also get an $85 credit to cover the cost of the TSA check application fee.

Part of traveling can be taking a cab, and with the Premier World Elite MasterCard cardholders also get a statement credit for up to $100 to cover rides taken with Uber and Lyft. Unlimited and free Boingo Wi-Fi via more than one million hotspots around the world is also part of the package.

Airport lounge access and more

Free membership to more than 850 airport lounges around the world is also included, as well as 15% off when shopping at certain restaurants, spas, duty-free shops and airport retailers.
