People looking to use their Amex points to book a stay now have more options with the news that cardholders can now use their points to book a stay at American Express Fine Hotels & Resorts. This offer is geared toward people with Platinum or Centurion-branded credit cards, like the Platinum Card from American Express and the Business Platinum Card from American Express.

Cardholders have been receiving emails announcing the news. In order to check out this offer cardholders must log into their account where they can find the "pay with points option."

Perks with American Express Fine Hotels & Resorts

What's also interesting about the American Express Fine Hotels & Resorts program is that cardholders get access to a variety of perks and benefits, including being able to check out at 4 pm (guaranteed), and getting breakfast every day for two people. Cardholders can also take advantage of a unique amenity at certain properties. These amenities typically have a value of $100.

They can also get a free room upgrade when is available, along with free Wi-Fi.

The cards, the points

People who are interested in this offer may want to check out the credit cards that give them entre to the American Express Fine Hotels & Resorts program. As we mentioned earlier this includes the Business Platinum Card from American Express and Platinum Card from American Express.

What do these cards offer people? That is a great question. With Platinum Card from American Express cardholders can earn a 75,000 point bonus with a $5000 spend during the first three months they have the card. On a day to day level, they can earn 5X points when booking flights directly with airlines or via American Express travel.
