I was denied a SW card although my Experian Credit Score is 788 and my other credit scores exceed 800 each. Our net worth exceeds $1250000. I pay off all bills monthly and have for nearly all of my life. The decision cannot be based on credit worthiness.

The Southwest credit cards are issued by Chase. Therefore, we assume that you fall under the Chase’s 5/24 rule. This rule means that in order to get approved for any Chase credit card, you cannot have opened five or more personal credit cards across all banks in the last 24 months.
