Well, when it comes to looking for a credit card to use to begin establishing a credit history with, there are several things you want to keep in mind. First of all, you want to ensure the card you are looking at will be reporting your credit activity to the major credit bureaus. This is what will actually allow you to build your credit profile. The National Tire and Battery credit card is issued through Citibank® so this card will be reporting activity to the major credit bureaus. Another thing you want to ensure is that the card is not going to cause you to earn an unpayable balance for yourself. Considering you frequent shop at NTB, the NTB credit card may not be the best option for you to start with as you may overspend there. What I would suggest you get instead is a general card that is affiliated with a major payment network and has a manageable spending limit that you can use for all your purchases even outside the store.
